Crazy Kiwis save the single ladies

Love is in the air.

Yes it is! At least, that’s what Air New Zealand is trying to achieve - speed dating in their long-haul flights! I know I found this out a bit late. Air NZ has already flown their first matchmaking flight from Los Angeles to Auckland on October 13. They even had pre-departure cocktail party and dances right at the gates!

It feels like a mini camp, only doing it in airplanes! How cool is that?! I wish my future flights are all like that, not that I need a new boyfriend. But sleeping for 17 hours is ridiculous, especially when you sit beside Japanese men! They don’t speak or smile or even help you carry your trays when you are caught in the window seat. WTFISH! I could go on complaining, but we need to get back to topic. Hee!

So I realized their cabin crew are in t-shirts and jeans as well. Employees must really love working in such flexible and unconventional environment. I love how they define themselves as “lifestyle carriers” - delivering in-flight frivolity along with fair fares. Now Singapore Airlines, you should rid that classy, sophistication image already! It’s making you look structured and uptight even though your meals are sumptuous.

And if you haven’t already watch the awesome videos posted on Twitter previously, check these out! Air New Zealand’s ‘Nothing to Hide’ marketing campaign. Nothing to hide = baring it all = going NAKED, yes! Hahahaha!
